Thank you for shopping at Crochet Emporium. We accept returns under strictly limited conditions as outlined below. Please carefully review our policy on refunds and returns. By making a purchase on our website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by the refund conditions outlined below.

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

  • Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.

  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.

  • Service refers to the Website.

  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Your Order Cancellation Rights

You are entitled to cancel Your Order before it ships. Most orders ship within 3 to 7 days of Order placement. After your Order ships, it cannot be cancelled.

In order to verify whether or not cancellation is possible, you may reach us via email.

If your order has not shipped and cancellation is possible, We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which cancellation takes effect.

Conditions for Returns

Goods we supply are only eligible for return if they are supplied in a defective (non-working) state. In the event that you receive a non-working item from us, please make sure that:

  • The Goods were purchased in the last 7 days.
  • The Goods remain in their original packaging and are returned to us in the exact non-working state received. (Damage, including that caused by a shipping carrier, is excluded - see below/our Shipping Policy for further details).

The following Goods cannot be returned:

  • Items appearing intentionally damaged, modified or reflecting a condition reasonably determined by us, as resulting from misuse. 
  • Items damaged by a shipping carrier in the process of shipping and delivery. Please also see our Shipping Policy. Ordering from our website constitutes your understanding and acceptance that we will not accept returns and issue refunds for items damaged by shipping carriers. In instances of items sustaining damage by shipping carriers, please file a claim directly with the carrier.
  • The supply of Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery. Please be aware that COVID-19 has necessitated a stricter approach to what we define as Goods which "may pose a reasonable hygiene risk". Goods which are unsealed from their original packaging and worn, are not accepted for return and refund.
  • The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized.
  • The supply of Goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
  • The supply of Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

Goods on sale cannot be refunded. This exclusion may not apply to You if it is not permitted by applicable law.

We reserve the right to refuse the return for refund of any merchandise not meeting the above return conditions in our sole discretion.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise appearing tampered-with, or modified in any way.

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.
